EUROPEAN BUFFET | ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It is necessary that each participating school bring along, or prepare in the school's kitchen, three specailties of their country, about 50 tasting protions per dish. Delegations should bring along all their ingredients. Large kitchen equipment such as refrigerators and fridges will be available on arrival and at your disposal. Our training kitchen and equipment will be available for participants, for preparation of all dishes including warm ones.

There are several supermarkets in the School area where you can buy necessary ingredients. Please notify us of the specific ingredients or equipment that you may need in order to confirm their availability by sending an e-mail to: david.ortega@fje.edu. Certain basic ingredients like flour, rice, milk, butter,.. will be provided by our school. The organisers will provide you with utensils and equipment for the preparation and serving of the dishes. However, you may also use your own utensils and tableware.

We expect all delegations to send us their recipes in ENGLISH  language, while listing ALL INGREDIENTS for the dishes offered at the European Buffet and highlighting related allergens.

For organizational improvement purposes, the European Buffet will be held over a period of two days, on December 3rd an 4th. Each participating school will have one set table with tablecloth, ready for service. On December 3rd, 12 schools will have to prepare their dishes, the remaning schools will cook on December 4th. On Monday December 2nd the organisers will inform all schools on their respecive participations ans cuisine turns.
